I’m a huge music fan, I listen to just about anything.  My top bands are +Live+, Dispatch, Counting Crows, Pearl Jam, STP, Atmosphere, MJ, Jimmy Eat World, G Love & Special Sauce, DMB, Garth Brooks, Lupe, and many more.

I also write, preform, and record my own music.  I’m not much of a singer, but I’ve gotten better over the years. Still far from good though.  But I currently have two ‘projects.’  One is Renascent and the other is bdow stylie.

Renascent: Formed by Greg Parlin and I in 2005.  We just started to play some music together after I heard Greg sing one time, and realized he could really sing well.  I invited him over and he sang some songs I had written.  We then kept writing songs on our own and recording them every time we could.  It’s all recorded by ourselves so the recordings are nothing great.  And all we have is just me or greg playing guitar and greg singing.  You can check out some of our stuff over at our own website:

bdow stylie: This was started with a song called Straight Chillin’.  I was bored, listening to a lot of G Love and by myself down in Rockville, MD.  I just started making up some lyrics, turned into a kind of hip hop style, and I used fruity loops to make beats behind it.  I then wrote two more ‘hip hop’ songs while I was at RIT.  And for the most part i think they came out pretty good.  So this stuff is all me.  I’ll have this up somewhere soon for you peeps to listen to, but right now you’ll have to settle for myspace…
